Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) support community economic development by assisting Ontario’s rural and northern communities to strengthen and diversify their economies. There are 37 corporations in rural southern Ontario and

PARO Peer Circles help women to increase their capacity for economic self-reliance. Peer Circle members provide lending support by being collectively accountable and providing references for each other, allowing PARO to use different lending criteria than those of traditional banking institutions.
